Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-10-01. Questions: support@getjex.dev.
Don't use Jex to
- Classify or process illegal content, or content whose purpose is to facilitate illegal activity.
- Build or train a system intended to harass, defraud, or deceive people, or to violate anyone's privacy.
- Submit text you don't have the right to submit (e.g. content under someone else's copyright or confidentiality obligation you don't control).
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or reconstruct the shared encoder, another customer's classifier, or our ready-made models beyond what the API itself returns to you (e.g. your own classifier's exported weights).
- Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass rate limits, key limits, or authentication.
- Resell raw API access without a separate agreement with us.
Rate limits and fair use
Published rate and spend limits (see the docs) exist to keep the service available for everyone. We may throttle or suspend a key that materially exceeds fair use for its plan, even if under the published numeric limits, if it degrades the service for other customers.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate a key that violates this policy, with notice where practical. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination without notice.
